Introduction

Dear Spouse,

If you are reading this, you're likely contemplating or already facing a divorce.

If so, now is prime time to learn about Collaborative Law, arelatively new concept and legal process in Family Law.  Collaborative Law works outside the courtroom but inside our legal system to settle the issues of divorce without the trauma of a trial or other courtroom hearings.

For the couple divorcing through Collaborative Law, the specially trained attorneys, neutral financial adviser and neutral communications/counseling expert help client spouses to deal with each other on a higher plane, to dissolve their marriage in an atmosphere of respect and civility.
Rather than looking to the courthouse for solutions, Collaborative attorneys, neutral professionals and their clients embark on a series of meetings to settle the case in a calm, private, non-threatening setting.

We encourage you to review the enclosed information packet.  Consider the innumerable benefits you, your spouse and your children could derive from Collaborative Law.  Please check the attached membership list of Northeast Collaborative Professionals.  Each member is trained in Collaborative Law procedures and philosophy.

The FAQ section offers more information on the Collaborative Law process.

If a divorce is inevitable for you, please choose our better way to help you and your family through this very difficult time.

Sincerely,

The members of Northeast Collaborative Professionals
